Sharkey has over 23 years experience in the Real Estate industry, and has been a Real Estate investor for over 25 years having purchased her first property at age 19.  Carole has excelled in Real Estate, selling  millions of dollars of residential, multi-family and commercial properties in Mahoning and Trumbull Counties.

Carole A. Sharkey is a recent graduate with honors from Kent State University with a Masters of Business Administration, as well as from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with dual majors in Political Science and Economics. Carole, a world traveler is dedicated to the Mahoning valley and lives in Boardman with her husband and two children.   

Carole is involved in a multitude of civic and volunteer activities. She recently served as Director on the Board of Directors for the Youngstown Columbiana Association of REALTORS, and is the spokesperson for RPAC (REALTORS® Political Action Committee), and serves on numerous committees at the Board.  She received the YWCA’s “Woman of the Year, 2001” Award in the category of Business/Real Estate and was nominated for “The Athena Award 2001” in the Excellence in Business Category by the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce.   

Carole finds time to pursue her passion as a professional artist.  She has won numerous art awards having had her work displayed at the Butler Institute of American Art, The McDonough Museum of Art and others. Carole says, “Art and Real Estate share a certain commonality they both require discipline in order to achieve success through the creative process.”
