According to Entrepreneur magazine's 30th Annual Franchise 500 survey, RE/MAX® remains the nation's No. 1 real estate franchise. The survey appears in the January 2009 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine and on the magazine's web site.
Among real estate franchises, RE/MAX ranks No. 1 for the ninth time in the past ten years. The closest real estate competitor ranked a distant No. 71.
Entrepreneur's “Franchise 500®” was the first ranking of franchises in the industry and is still the best and most comprehensive rating of franchises in the world. Over the years, they have polished and perfected the ranking procedure, giving a formula that accurately identifies today's top franchise.
All companies, regardless of size, are judged by the same criteria: objective, quantifiable measures of a franchise operation. The most important factors include financial strength and stability, growth rate and size of the system.
